长期聚焦抗真菌药物的研究与开发、药物靶点研究、荧光探针及其应用。主持承担国家自然科学基金重点项目和面上项目8项、新药创制科技重大专项2项、上海市级项目4项。近五年以通讯作者或共同通讯作者发表论文20余篇,申请专利6项,授权并转化专利3项,获批新药证书2件,获得2020年教育部科技进步一等奖1项(第1)。
